James Rennie School supports young people with a broad range of learning difficulties that affect their sensory, health, mobility or learning needs; all young people at the School have either severe or profound learning needs. The most important part of supporting our young people is understanding that we acknowledge them first then their additional needs.
Our curriculum, environment and ethos all link to our young people and their additional needs, with the ultimate aim of making them as independent as possible when they leave us, with maximum number of choices post James Rennie.
Our Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) is called Janet Beer and can be contacted through the School Office or through our contacts page.
You can find out more information in our Local Offer (click here for the page) which includes our Special Educational Needs Report or go to our contacts page to get in touch.
