Flyers have been sent out for clubs this term to the appropriate year groups. This will be on-going, so look out for them in your child's bag and if they would like to attend please return the consent form as soon as possible, as places are allocated on a first come first served basis and many clubs fill up within the first few days.
We have a large number of clubs running during lunchtimes and after School.
Clubs that are running this term are:
Wheelchair Basketball (Monday lunchtimes)
Flip Flop Flo (Wednesday lunchtimes)
Football (Thursday lunchtimes)
Autism Support Group (Mondays and Wednesdays after school)
Tennis for Upper School and 6th form (Tuesdays after school)
Lets Get Cooking for Classes 7, 8, 9 & 10 (Tuesdays after school)
Art & Craft for Upper School and 6th Form (Wednesdays after school)
Youth Club for Upper School and 6th Form (Thursdays after school at the Youth Zone)
We are accredited with the Advanced Qiss Quality Mark for the work we do to support young people's learning outside School hours.
In order to sustain the provision of Extended School Clubs I organise a wide range of fundraising events, which will be advertised within the News Section of the website as and when necessary. A huge 'thank you' to everyone that supports us.
If you would like to support James Rennie Extended School and pledge £5 please Text JRES05 to 70070
Or if you would like to undertake a sponsored event in aid of James Rennie Extended School please visit www.justgiving.com and set up a fundraising page within the James Rennie School Charity Page. You are able to download sponsor forms, or donate on-line, with the money raised coming direct to our bank account and gift aid claimed where possible.
If you would like to give a single donation and are a UK taxpayer please find attached a Gift Aid Declaration, which may enable us to draw down an additional 25p from HM Revenues & Customs for every £1 donated. This can be printed off and sent to: Debbie Wilkinson, Extended School Co-ordinator at James Rennie School.
